What is a fetish?

Some of the most common fetishes today are feet fetishes and cuckolding.

Long story short, National Fetish Day celebrates and supports the BDSM community. The goal of having a National Fetish Day is to spread education and awareness about fetishism and kinks while encouraging members of the BDSM community to be more open and accepting of their sexuality.

While originally being an event called “Perverts Wear Purple” in the UK, National Fetish Day has extended to all forms of fetishism that might not necessarily fall under the umbrella of “perverted”. However, the spirit behind the initial event remains the same: creating a safe space, supporting safe and consensual fetish play.
